Meet Fresh Kils!
He’s a fantastic producer. I do a lot of work out of his studio. He uses the blue Zest, so I always look forward to washing my hands at his place, then smelling them until the scent wears off. You may ask me, “Derek, why don’t you buy your own bars of blue zest?” I reply, “Mind your fu*king business, hippie!”

Kyle Lundie spends a lot of time at my place. He claims his home does not have electricity. I don’t believe him. His sticks with his excuse. I respect that. He wears Hugo Boss cologne.
I’ve left Kyle alone in my home many times. I’ve always wondered what he does when I’m not there. Kyle Lundie is obsessed with Black Planet and is always updating his profile and/or checking for new messages. When I walk out the door, he’s on Black Planet. When I get home, he’s on Black Planet. There have been times I’ve been gone for hours. Can someone really be on Black Planet that long? I had to find out.

Meet Kyle Lundie!
He travels with me everywhere. He handles my merchandise at shows, collects drink tickets from promoters and gives great Shiatsu Massages. When I was on tour with Moka Only and Manafest in 08, I learned that he only counts money in his boxer shorts.
When preparing for a show with Gza in Barrie, Ontario, I learned that Kyle Lundie loves bracelets. I don’t ever recall seeing them on his wrists previous to this day, but he goes as far as to say that he’s owned another pair before these and forgot them in a hotel. Needless to say, this was exciting to me!

I have two passions in life.
1. Recording music.
2. Maintaining a one sided, pen pal relationship with Dana Owens.
I started this pen pal relationship just after the release of my third album, Jonestown. Novemeber of 09. In January of 10, Queen Latifah filed a restraining order against me, prohibiting me from pursuing any contact. Unfortunately, sending mail falls under that category. The R.O. left me with nothing to do. So I did the other thing I do best…Got back in the studio and started working on a new album. Death To The Dream Seller.
In this episode of MMCIT you’ll catch me in the studio with Mr. Muneshine. His room can get very cold. A heater is necessary. He has great hats.

Welcome to my new blog.
Yes, there was an old blog. Some of you may remember it. A blog that I was horrible to. I barely paid any attention to it. It needed me. I needed it, but was too blind to see it. Too proud to admit it. I packed up my things and walked away from it and the 6 followers that were also attached. If you ever run into my old blog, or it’s followers, please apologize to them for me. They wont answer my calls. They requested ‘blogspot’ to never remind me of my password. A cyber restraining order. A restraining order that I deserved.
After months of heavy heroin use and Rachel Ray, I finally decided to clean myself up. After my rehab graduation with Dr. Drew Pinsky I refused the Sober Living program and decided to battle my demons on my own.
It was at Moe Pancers Deli where I met my new blog. It used to frequent Coleman’s before it closed down (as did I) and had to make the switch. We both share a love for Corned Beef and Matzah Ball soup. And for eachother.
I welcome you all to be a part of our lives, as we take you on the D-Sisive Adventure. Along with the primitive blog, I’ve included a new feature. A Vlog (video blog, smushed together) that Mr. Muneshine brilliantly titled ‘MagicalMomentsCapturedInTime’. I avoid spaces to seem more artsy and pretentious. It works.
So, I promise you we will have wonderful moments together. I’ll be frequently posting, so check back EVERYDAY!
